LoCAR works to advocate for realtors by forming direct relationships with government officials to provide a valuable voice in their decision-making processes about real estate matters and private property rights.

This is achieved in three main ways:

1. LoCAR’s Government Affairs Committee monitors, identifies, and responds to issues that affect REALTORS® business and/or private property.
2. LoCAR educates, supports, endorses, and engages local and state-wide elected officials to help them understand and support REALTOR® issues.
3. Raise RPAC funds to elect REALTOR®-friendly candidates.

Our Government Affairs & RPAC Committee are responsible for establishing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with the regulatory community, legislators, and our stakeholders. We collaborate to ensure our efforts support best practices in real estate & for property owners.
